Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current, valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric populations and school-based settings.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability, organization, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to integrate therapy into students’ educational plans.
- Document progress, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed.
