Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome in some placements
- School-based experience advantageous, though not required
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services to students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and engage with teachers, family members, and support staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress
- Support students with a variety of speech, language, and social communication challenges
