Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Michigan required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is mandatory
- Experience working in an elementary or school-based setting is highly desirable
- Comfortable managing a caseload focused on students K-4
- Candidates in Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) will not be considered for this assignment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and reassessments for speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to support student progress and engagement
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the learning community
