Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing speech-language services in school settings to elementary-aged children
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with education professionals and families
- Must have prior experience; SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-4th grade students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor progress and provide resources
- Maintain clear and accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere for all students
