Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Michigan SLP license and ASHA CCCs (Clinical Certificate of Competence)
- Prior experience working in schools, especially with K-4th grade populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- SLP-CFs will not be considered for this position
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in grades K-4
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in alignment with school guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
