Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Skilled in working with K-4th grade students, including evaluation, diagnostics, and therapy
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- SLP-CFs are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech-language services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students’ specific needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student growth and inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and compliance with all school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Consult and support staff and families with strategies and communication tools
