Key Details:
- Location: Various schools around Jackson County and Roseburg, OR
- Contract Duration: August 2026 through June 11, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Caseload: Starting average is 35 students, growing to approximately 65 by year-end
- Settings: Include Early Childhood Special Education focusing on children ages 3-5
- Services: Direct speech therapy and IFSP participation; services primarily delivered through push-in consultation averaging 40 minutes/month, with weekly speech groups
- Student Demographics: About 20% are Spanish-speaking
- Team Support: Collaboration with 3 Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and 3 speech department Instructional Assistants (IAs)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist eligible to work on-site in Oregon
- Open to both experienced SLPs and CFY candidates
- Skills working with pediatric populations, school-based therapy, and special education preferred
