Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Oakland, OR

We are seeking several Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions (40 hours per week) across Jackson County and the Roseburg area for the 2026-2027 academic year. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellow (CF), or bring pediatric/early childhood expertise, you’ll join a collaborative department ready to welcome travelers and new graduates alike.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Oregon SLP license and readiness to work on site
- Experience with pediatric, school-based, or Early Childhood Special Education caseloads (ages 3–5)
- Comfort providing services and participating in IFSPs
- Commitment to consultative/push-in models and working in diverse, bilingual communities (about 20% Spanish-speaking students)
- Adaptability to caseloads (beginning around 35; may grow to 65 by year-end)
- Supervisory skill or willingness to support SLPAs (if assigned; caseloads accommodate this)
- Collaboration with SLPAs, IAs, and other specialists
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy within school settings, primarily in small groups once weekly and individually (on average 40 min/month)
- Participate in IFSP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and bilingual support staff
- Support and, if qualified, supervise SLPAs, with additional help from speech department IAs
- Contribute to an environment where clinical fellows thrive—mentorship encouraged
