Multiple openings are currently available, with assignments beginning as soon as possible and lasting through mid-June 2026. Both full-time and part-time schedules can be accommodated to suit your availability.
As a school-based SLP in this role, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across a varied caseload (50-60 for full-time), serving K-12 age groups according to assignment needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, family members, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and maintain up-to-date case records
- Participate in IEP meetings and educational team discussions to ensure students receive comprehensive support
- Deliver all services onsite within assigned school locations during standard school hours (8:00 am–4:00 pm)
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in K-12 school settings is ideal, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children, parents, and school staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and required documentation
