Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFs considered)
- Prior experience working in school settings, especially with diverse K-12 populations
- Ability to collaborate professionally with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for helping children overcome communication challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative services, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and goal development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Educate and support caregivers and school staff regarding student needs and progress
- Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
