Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed
Make a meaningful impact this school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This onsite-only opportunity, located near Santa Clara, CA, starts ASAP and continues through mid-June, offering a dedicated schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work closely with students, faculty, and families to support language, speech, and hearing needs, utilizing your expertise to foster student growth and communication.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing services in Language, Speech, & Hearing OR a California credential for Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Commitment to working onsite
Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote successful learning outcomes
- Maintain thorough records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs in a dynamic school environment
This assignment is primarily based in South San Jose, allowing you to engage with a welcoming school community and make a real difference every day.
