Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but dedicated new graduates are welcome
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, focusing on language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with educational standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the student support process
- Stay current with best practices and professional development for serving school-aged populations
