What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a variety of speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services as determined by IEPs
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and district policies
- Collaborate with educational staff and participate in IEP meetings to support student success
- Offer resources and training to educators and families to foster language development
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and ensure inclusive practices
