Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in a school or healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy protocols and IEP processes
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services to a caseload of 40 elementary students in Pre-K through 8th grade
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
- Offer engaging, innovative therapy sessions to help students overcome a variety of speech and language challenges
- Provide consultative support and resources to educational staff
