Qualifications and Preferred Experience

  • Active SLP licensure in Vermont or eligibility to obtain before assignment start
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) encouraged to apply
  • Pediatric experience, especially in school-based settings, is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process, progress monitoring, and relevant documentation practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and deliver individualized speech-language therapy services for students in PreK–8th grade
  • Maintain accurate records, write IEP goals, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to support students’ academic and social success
  • Provide consultation for parents and educational teams regarding communication strategies
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing case management
