You’ll work with a diverse caseload, delivering services across 1–2 school locations and ensuring students receive the specialized attention they deserve. As part of your role, you’ll also supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), fostering mentorship and professional development within your team.
Key Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Active Oregon State SLP License or eligibility to secure licensure before start
- Ability to pass a fingerprinting and background check before the position begins
- Willing to be on-site at least four days weekly
- Comfortable with supervising an SLPA
- School-based pediatric experience and teletherapy familiarity a plus
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough, school-based speech and language evaluations and manage IEPs
- Provide direct therapy to students and support educational goals
- Supervise and collaborate with the on-site SLPA
- Attend team meetings and engage in family and educator consultation
- Manage necessary documentation and indirect service hours during paid preparation time
