School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | North Las Vegas, Nevada
Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students in the Las Vegas area as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist through a rewarding contract assignment. Set within a large and dynamic district, this position focuses entirely on on-site engagement—no virtual or hybrid work permitted—giving you the opportunity to make direct, meaningful connections with students and school teams.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility of varied school assignments, with caseloads, age groups, and locations tailored to each placement. Both experienced SLPs holding their CCCs and recently graduated SLP-CFs are encouraged to apply, though preference is given to those with the CCC credential. Candidates must possess an active Nevada DOE certification as well as a current Nevada SLP license. Immediate start is possible, and full-time availability is required for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning July 29, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed (required)
- Active NV DOE certification and NV SLP license
- Preference for SLPs with CCC, but SLP-CF candidates will be considered
- Full-time, on-site availability only (no virtual or part-time)
- Experience working in schools preferred
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support teams
- Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with district standards
- Participate fully in campus-based meetings and activities
