Position Details:
- Anticipated assignment dates: 7/29/26 through 5/21/27.
- Full-time schedule; no part-time or virtual work permitted. Candidates must be available for on-site duties only.
- Candidates may be assigned to one or more schools, with caseload and age group determined per assignment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
- Valid Nevada Department of Education certification.
- Active Nevada SLP license.
- Preference given to candidates who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), though Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) may be considered.
- Quick adaptability and the ability to manage caseloads that vary by age and location.
- Strong collaborative skills and a passion for helping students achieve communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Develop individualized plans of care and facilitate therapy tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to support each student’s educational journey.
- Maintain precise documentation and comply with district policies.
- Engage in timely onboarding; the district expedites interviews and handles credentialing, including fingerprinting and certification, after extending an offer.
