Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as required
- Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and report writing
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to special education meetings
- Provide both individual and group therapy to support students’ academic and social growth
- Participate in student support teams, professional development, and consult on best practices within the school community
