Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- School-based experience or strong desire to work with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy sessions to students, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and service delivery
- Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
