Speech Therapist in Las Vegas, NV
Are you passionate about making a direct impact in K-12 education as a Speech-Language Pathologist? We have multiple contract opportunities available for dedicated SLPs to work onsite at various campuses across the Las Vegas area for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. These full-time positions require commitment to on-site service (no virtual or hybrid options) from July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Caseloads, student age ranges, and specific campus locations will be assigned based on placement needs.
What you bring to the role:
- Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLPs holding CCCs are strongly preferred; SLP-CFs may be considered)
- Active Nevada DOE Certification and current Nevada SLP license (or eligibility to obtain upon offer)
- Full-time availability with flexibility to work at various campuses as assigned
- Ability to begin work at the start of the 2026-2027 academic year and fulfill the duration of the contract
- Bilingual language skills are a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to onsite service; virtual or part time work is not permitted
Key responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to students of varying ages and needs (assignment and caseload specifics will be determined upon placement)
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation per school and district guidelines
- Engage with families to support student progress
The district handles a streamlined interview process and swift placement decisions. Following an offer, support with credentialing and fingerprinting procedures is provided by district staff.
