School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Nellis Afb, Nevada
Make an impact in the Las Vegas area working onsite in schools serving diverse student populations as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract opportunity seeks professionals ready to support the communication needs of students across various campuses. Flexibility is essential as exact caseloads, age groups, and school assignments are determined by the district based on current needs. The start date is July 29, 2026, and the contract runs through May 21, 2027.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master’s degree program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Nevada DOE certification
- Active Nevada SLP license
- New graduates with SLP-CF certification may be considered, though those with CCCs are highly preferred
- Ability to work 100% onsite; no virtual or hybrid options available
- Full-time availability, with commitment to the entire contract duration
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to assigned students, supporting their IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and provide written reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure the best outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt to different settings and age groups as assignments vary by need
