SLP in Bonita Springs, FL
As a Speech Language Pathologist seeking your next rewarding assignment, consider this contract opportunity in the vibrant Bonita Springs and Fort Myers area! This position offers a variety of options across multiple school levels—including elementary, middle, and high school—and the flexibility to build a full or part-time schedule.
You’ll be serving students ranging from early elementary to high school, supporting communication and language development in an educational setting. Multiple positions are available, including roles based in Cape Coral. Assignments may be itinerant if combining full-time hours across more than one school, or based at a single location depending on caseload needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Must complete all time-sensitive credentialing: fingerprinting, AHCA Clearinghouse verification, and JLA badge acquisition or transfer
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students within the school setting
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations as needed
