Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Current Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
  • Experience in school settings preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to serve across multiple campuses
  • Comfort working with varied caseloads and age groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and support plans
  • Maintain thorough records and monitor student progress throughout the academic year
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development when required

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of fingerprinting and credentialing as specified, including AHCA Clearinghouse status or new prints if necessary
  • JLA badge compliance (transferable if already held from another district)
