Full-time hours are up to 37.5 per week, and flexibility is offered in combining assignments across schools for those seeking a complete schedule or preferring a single campus environment. Openings are available specifically at elementary, middle, and high school levels, with several positions located in Cape Coral as well.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida DOH SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification required
- Experience in school-based settings is a plus, though strong clinical SLPs passionate about student success are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability for working onsite with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide therapy for students in elementary, middle, or high school—caseload specifics will be determined by assignment
- Collaborate closely with school staff, administrators, and families to facilitate student growth
- Maintain accurate records and meet state and district requirements
- Travel between campuses may be required if combining positions
Time-sensitive Credentialing:
- Candidates must complete district-required fingerprinting; streamlined processes may be available for those previously fingerprinted in Florida districts via the AHCA Clearinghouse
- JLA badge acquisition is required and can be transferred from other districts within the state
