Step into a rewarding educational environment as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students in a variety of school settings this coming academic year. This contract opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, with full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) and part-time schedules available. Multiple locations can be combined to create a full-time schedule, spanning elementary, middle, and high school settings.
What we're looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
- Experience working with school-age children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload (elementary through high school)
- Flexibility to work across multiple school sites as needed
- Willingness to complete FL school district fingerprinting and credentialing process (facilitated for candidates with prior district experience or transferable JLA badge)
What you'll do:
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking for students
- Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings
- Educate and support teachers to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
- Engage in professional development and mentorship as needed
Experience working on-site is essential—teletherapy and virtual options are not available for this assignment. Locations are conveniently situated near Bonita Springs, and you’ll have the flexibility to create your ideal schedule by combining assignments across campuses.
