Multiple opportunities are available across elementary, middle, and high school campuses in the Fort Myers and Bonita Springs region, with options to combine school locations for a full-time assignment (up to 37.5 hours weekly). Part-time arrangements are also available to fit your scheduling needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adjust to varying school environments
- Fingerprinting and compliance with Florida AHCA Clearinghouse regulations mandatory prior to start
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students K-12, as assigned per school site
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster achievement of communication goals
- Conduct evaluations and maintain thorough documentation in line with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary committees as required by the district
- Travel between assigned campuses (if applicable)
