Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active FL DOH SLP license
- Ability to complete required credentialing and fingerprints (transfers within Florida supported)
- Eligible for a JLA badge (can be transferred within Florida districts)
- Previous schools-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to students at multiple sites (assignments can be combined for full- or part-time roles)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders for elementary through high school age groups (caseload varies by site)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and family communication
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district policy
