This rewarding contract opportunity is available for both full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time positions, across multiple school sites for the 2026-2027 academic year. Openings are available at various elementary, middle, and high school campuses, with the ability to combine locations to create a full-time schedule to best fit your preferences.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current and valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders for students (caseloads and age groups vary by site)
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participate in meetings, conduct evaluations, and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide services on-site only (remote work is not available for this contract)
Additional Information:
- All positions require completed fingerprints for background clearance; prior fingerprints within FL public schools may be transferrable with verification.
- JLA badges are mandatory and issued upon clearance; processing time may take up to 14 business days.
