Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP license in Vermont (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working as a school-based SLP strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records of progress, assessments, and services provided
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions and strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Consult regularly with teachers and parents to support student achievement
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on student success and inclusion
