Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Vermont
  • Prior experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student development and working cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with clearly outlined, targeted goals
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress data as required by state and district guidelines
  • Engage with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support integrated student care
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration and professional development opportunities
  • Adapt therapeutic strategies to suit diverse student needs across age groups
