This full-time contract opportunity offers multiple openings for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and SLP Assistants (SLPAs) to work with students of varying ages (K-12) at various school sites. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to help students reach their communication potential in a rewarding onsite role.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences (for SLPs)
- Active licensure as an SLP or SLPA in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred for SLPs
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting students across a diverse caseload
- Openness to travel or local candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 settings
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress in compliance with district standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to implement therapy plans
- Support inclusion by working across classrooms and resource settings as needed
- Supervise or mentor SLPAs as appropriate, depending on licensure and role
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
