Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting is a plus
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet a range of diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of oral and communicative challenges
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other support professionals to maximize student success
- Maintain detailed and compliant therapy records, documentation, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary assessment process
- Offer consultation to staff and caregivers to support carry-over of treatment strategies in the classroom and at home
