Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Experience working in a school environment is a plus, but all SLPs with a passion for pediatrics are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student progress
- Keep thorough documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse cultural and linguistic needs of students
