Desired Experience & Credentials:
• Active Massachusetts SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience supporting elementary-age children in school-based settings preferred
• Knowledge of AAC devices, Autism Spectrum support, and language/articulation disorder strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct speech therapy services for students in elementary grades as specified by IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized plans tailored to each child’s needs
• Support a caseload including students with articulation disorders, social pragmatic needs, and AAC device users
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to foster optimal learning environments
• Maintain detailed documentation and timely progress reporting
• Attend relevant meetings and participate in interdisciplinary team efforts
