Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Nipomo, CA
Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary school students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Work 37.5 hours weekly in a positive, growth-focused environment that welcomes both experienced SLPs (CCC-SLP) and new graduates (CFY-SLP), with comprehensive supervision available for clinical fellows.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility in California
- Open to both CCC-SLPs and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school settings
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to provide individualized and group therapy
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for elementary students
- Develop customized intervention plans and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Document evaluations, IEP goals, therapy sessions, and outcomes according to district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student support plans
- Provide consultative services and resources for staff and families
- Receive supportive supervision and mentorship (for CFY candidates)
