Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Vallejo, CA
Step into a rewarding speech-language pathology opportunity providing essential services to K-12 students. This full-time, contract role offers the chance to support approximately 55 students each week, making a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational setting. With a 37.5-hour weekly schedule, you will work closely with students, families, and educators to help learners reach their communication goals.
This position is ideal for professionals experienced in school-based and healthcare speech therapy. Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs (CCC) are both encouraged to apply, as are confident SLPAs with a background in pediatric care.
Key requirements and preferred experience:
- Active state licensure and credentials for SLP or SLPA
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY supervision opportunities available
- Experience supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong background in both pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Prior familiarity with healthcare or educational therapies is valuable
