Qualifications and Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in the state or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric, school-based settings preferred
- Open to SLPAs with healthcare or school backgrounds
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop and implement effective treatment plans for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative services across K-12 grade levels
- Write and maintain progress reports, IEP documentation, and related compliance paperwork
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized goals
- Maintain best practices and stay current with school-based SLP standards
