Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Atascadero, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- Open to both ASHA CCC-SLPs and CFY-SLPs (new graduates encouraged)
- Pediatric experience or a strong interest in working with children
- Familiarity with IEP development and school-based SLP responsibilities preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students in a supportive educational environment
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine eligibility and individualized needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining accurate records and progress reports
- Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize student communication and learning outcomes
