Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a strong asset
- Ability to work effectively with K–12 learners across a variety of needs
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K–12 students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student goals and progress
- Address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state, federal, and school guidelines
