Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school settings with K-12 populations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs, including administration of standardized assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Provide targeted interventions, therapy sessions, and consultative services for a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and other service providers to support students’ social, emotional, and academic success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
