Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Jersey City, NJ

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate credentials for school-based practice
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially within schools
- Strong skills in both direct and teletherapy service delivery
- Enthusiasm for supporting students during the Extended School Year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), setting and tracking meaningful goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster a team-focused approach
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Offer engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions, both in-person and virtually, to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Actively participate in professional development and staff meetings throughout the ESY
