Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility for CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Hold a valid New Jersey SLP license or the ability to obtain one prior to start
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Exceptional communication and consultative skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultative speech-language services for students, primarily providing guidance and support rather than direct therapy
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop strategies and accommodations for students’ communication success
- Participate in meetings and student evaluations as needed
- Document consultation activities and maintain comprehensive student records
- Serve as a resource to school staff in understanding the communication needs of students
Role Details:
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
- Assignment covers ESY (Extended School Year): June 1st–18th and July 6th–10th
- One school location with a single-level caseload; typically consultative in nature
- Start date is flexible and hiring is moving swiftly due to urgent need
- Interview scheduling is flexible; the selection process will be via a panel format
