School Speech Language Pathologist - New Oxford, PA
Elevate your impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students within a collaborative school-based environment near New Oxford, PA. Three contract-based opportunities are available for experienced SLPs to work directly with Early Intervention and K-12 populations across multiple buildings and age groups. These roles are fully in-person, ensuring you connect directly with students, educators, and support staff while delivering comprehensive speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification and Teaching Certification required at the time of application
- School-based experience preferred; CFs welcome with sponsorship (agency responsible for one-time supervision fee)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage varied caseloads
- SLPAs are not eligible for these positions
Role A: Work with K-12 students in the North Eastern area, providing services to a caseload of 50-55 across two elementary schools (including students with Regular Ed and Autism Support needs). Some case management required. Schedule is 8:00-3:30, Monday through Friday, from mid-August through late May.
Role B: Deliver Early Intervention services to children ages 3-5 with special education needs in New Oxford/Gettysburg. This role involves a year-round schedule, school breaks, and dedicated time weekly for paperwork and documentation.
Responsibilities Across Both Roles:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and therapy in school settings
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student IEPs and communication goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Employ evidence-based intervention strategies adapted to individual student needs
