Key Requirements:
- Possession of SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based SLP roles, specifically in urban settings
- Ability to fulfill all Pennsylvania state clearance processes prior to employment
- Reliable transportation enabling daily on-site attendance (no virtual work options available)
- Comfort working within district policies and diverse student populations
- Available to work between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM, with no schedule accommodations possible
- Familiarity with caseloads at the middle and high school level
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy and support to students in grades 6-12
- Conduct student assessments, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Attend meetings and fulfill general duties as needed by the district
- Deliver all services on-site, ensuring active engagement with school staff and students
