As a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding CCC credentials, your expertise is sought to provide direct, onsite services at a vibrant campus. The position begins August 24, 2026, and runs through June 10, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week during the standard school day, between 7:15AM and 4:00PM. Please note, the district requires onsite presence, as virtual needs are currently filled.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP - CCC certification
- Proven school-based SLP experience (middle and/or high school preferred)
- Pennsylvania-clearance ready or able to obtain all required state credentials
- Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
- Experience working in an urban educational setting, with sensitivity to unique cultural and community dynamics
- Comfortable adapting to the schedule and demands of a lively district—no schedule accommodations will be offered
- Confidence in managing general caseload duties with professionalism and independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to assigned caseload
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapy sessions onsite
- Communicate regularly with students, faculty, and families regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with district and state mandates
