School Based Speech Language Pathologist
Location: San Jose, CA and surrounding areas

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the San Jose, CA area. The SLP will work within a school setting to support students with communication disorders, helping them achieve academic and social success. This role involves collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
