Speech Language Pathologist in Chester, PA
Step into a meaningful, full-time contract role supporting middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Make a difference onsite within a vibrant urban district, providing essential services during the academic year from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027. This position is strictly onsite due to existing virtual placements. The schedule offers a consistent 35 hours per week and requires a reliable, committed presence during standard school hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification and Pennsylvania SLP license
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience; familiarity with middle and high school populations preferred
- Previous experience in urban educational settings
- Confident in managing a diverse caseload and comfortable with the school’s environment
- Ability to secure and maintain all PA clearances prior to start
- Reliable transportation required for daily onsite attendance
- Availability to work between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM with no schedule adjustments possible
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a varied caseload of students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with the school team
