Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (or Clinical Fellowship candidates considered)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized student care
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across various ages and developmental levels
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within classrooms
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress and service delivery
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
