Speech Language Pathologist

Position Highlights:
Monday through Friday schedule
Hours: 8:45 am – 4:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
Serve an elementary caseload of approximately 40 students, with a focus on STARS students
Collaborative environment where you can share ideas and strategies
Required Qualifications:
Active Illinois SLP license and necessary state certifications
Current SLP-CCC credential
Strong background in school-based speech therapy
Experience working with elementary-age children
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school and district guidelines
Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents
Support STARS students with targeted interventions and progress monitoring
Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required

Compensation for this position ranges from $36.40 to $66.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
