Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Arlington Heights, IL

You'll work with a manageable caseload and benefit from mentorship and collaboration with another experienced SLP onsite.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve a high school caseload of approximately 50 students across one school site
- Conduct and interpret 7 evaluations during the assignment period
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services, including handling 4 consult-only students
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with onsite SLP and multidisciplinary education teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records according to district and state requirements
