Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience working within a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, family members, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation
- Offer consultation, resources, and training for school staff regarding speech and language issues
- Engage in ongoing professional development and compliance with school and state requirements
