Key Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware SLP license (required for consideration)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in a K–12 school setting preferred
- Comfort providing services both onsite and in homebound settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, adaptable, and able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in a school environment as well as to a limited number of medically homebound students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans according to students’ unique needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all therapy activities and progress for compliance
- Work with educators, families, and support staff to implement effective intervention strategies
- Travel as needed within the district to provide homebound services (site and caseload details will be confirmed prior to assignment)
- Adjust interventions and approaches year-round to best suit fluctuating caseloads
This contract position is set to begin August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027. Schedules run Monday through Friday, with the possibility for part-time arrangements if desired. Enjoy the rewards of making a direct impact on student growth across both school and homebound settings.
