Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or pending licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are welcomed
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEPs, compliance, and school-based documentation
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student-specific goals
- Maintain accurate, timely records for evaluations, progress, and IEP meetings
- Partner with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student support
- Monitor and report on student progress while adapting interventions as needed
- Participate in RTI (Response to Intervention), eligibility meetings, and other school activities as appropriate
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adjusting approaches to benefit diverse learners
